1. Overview
This policy explains what information the operator of Bomb Dodge (the "app") processes, why, how long it is kept, and what rights you have. The operator complies with applicable law in your location, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and the EU GDPR.
2. Information we do not collect
- Account information — There is no sign-up or login. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or dates of birth.
- Location — The app never requests location permission.
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera — These permissions are never requested or accessed.
- Payment details — The app has no in-app purchases. Hearts are granted only through time, daily attendance, and rewarded ads.
3. Stored only on your device
- Campaign progress (per-stage clear state, best records, attempt counts), settings (language, volume, vibration, joystick side and size), and appearance selection.
- This data lives in app-private storage, is deleted when you uninstall the app, and is never transmitted.
4. Sent to the weekly ranking server
When you submit a run to the rankings, the following is sent to the operator's server (Cloudflare Workers).
The server is bomb-dodge-rankings.developerkhy.workers.dev. The app works fully offline; without a network connection your records simply stay on the device.
- Device identifier — a random value generated on your device, used only to keep your records together and to prevent duplicate or manipulated entries. It is not your advertising ID (AAID) and is not linked to any other service.
- Run record — survival time, near-miss count, clear state, any assists used, and the stage number.
- Input trace — the movement inputs of that run may be sent so the server can verify the score. It contains no typed text and no personal identifiers.
- Display name — an anonymous alias derived by the server from the device identifier (for example,
Pilot-1a2b). You never enter it yourself.
5. Advertising
The app shows Google AdMob banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may process device information, including your advertising ID (AAID), to serve and measure ads. Users in the European Economic Area and the UK are asked for consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), and consent can be changed at any time in the app settings.
For details on Google's processing, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
6. Purposes
- Compiling and displaying weekly survival rankings
- Blocking fraudulent scores and reviewing game balance
- Confirming correct delivery of hearts and rewarded-ad rewards
- Serving ads and measuring their performance
7. Retention
- Weekly ranking records are kept for that week's leaderboard and deleted progressively after the week ends.
- Currency state such as hearts is stored against the device identifier and may be pruned after long inactivity.
- On-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.
8. Third parties and processors
We do not sell personal information or share it for purposes beyond those above.
- Google AdMob — ad serving and measurement.
- Cloudflare — ranking server infrastructure.
9. Children
The app is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect information from children and will delete such information promptly if it is discovered.
10. Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of your information. Because the app has no accounts, please include the device identifier shown on the app's settings screen so we can locate and delete the matching records. On-device data can be removed immediately by uninstalling the app or clearing its app data.
11. Security
All communication with the server uses HTTPS. Ranking records are verified before storage, and the operator keeps access rights to a minimum.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text and its effective date will be posted on this page.
